Greetings from Van kids.
Van is short for Vancouver and it’s a little place that sits on the west coast of BC - if you’re from the US, it’s just north of Portland, WA …in Canada of course. I’m taking a little holiday of sorts and spending some time visiting some friends, Eric and Beth, who used to live in Edmonton …and Calgary, and Tucson and some other little places as they’ve been galavanting around looking for a place to settle down. But they’ve decided to settle here …and they like it, so I guess that’s good.
Me? I don’t know. Maybe I’m getting old or something, but Vancouver isn’t doing it for me like it used to. It’s loud, busy and generally over-whelming at times. But it is just me though, and I still have yet to get out and do stuff - so what do I know. And I have that ‘headache/recovering allergy’ too - lol (but the body is getting better!). In closing this brief post, here’s a little sample of Eric’s artwork. He’s into the painting thing and will have his works featured at a local gallery here in town called the Main Artery.
