Hey Gang.
Ever have one of those days/moments when everything you’ve been thinking about for a while just seems to resolve itself all at once. Coincidence might be a word to use, but it’s more like a ‘grand coincidence’ of sorts - 3 or 4 completely separate issues all collide and then pan out in the same day. It’s liberating when it happens, and for some reason it happens to me often. Lol, maybe it’s because I let things slack off for so long that they have no choice to but to resolve, what ever the case …it’s great when it happens - and I’ll take it!
I did the AR thing last night for the SalsAddiction people again. They always get a great crowd - and this time around was no exception. The band wasn’t too bad either, considering we had a few ’subs’ of sorts for the night. Tilo was away, Erin just had her baby (Congrats! again) and Cecilia was hanging out in NY for some reason - and in replacement Frankie did the vocals, Marco the timbales and Jonny Mac (sp) did an awesome job on tenor. The group has a few things lined up for Dec., and with the many other musical things happening for me at the same time …I’m glad I got the resolutions I mentioned. Sweet. I’ll let you in on them later perhaps.
Lenny is doing his Are You Gonna Go My Way at the half-time show right now, and my linguine seems to be ready. Yea!
